    A rare example of common sense being shown by the courts.

    While this is a useful decision which helps clarify liability, rent to rent is not the low risk option it is made out to be.
    Landlords considering rent to rent should thoroughly check the renter both financially and operationally to ensure they are capable of meeting the required compliance as well as their rent and maintenance obligations.
