One has to ask “What about Landlords with bad tenants?”
I understand the increase in rent is to be linked to CPI or inflation,
whichever is less. But, in the last twenty years as landlords, by far
the largest cost to us has been government policy instigating new,
or changing existing, regulations.
Of course the costs of implementing these over the years has
inevitably risen well above either of the permitted methods of the
proposed increase formula.
The phrase “nail and coffin” spring to mind!!!!
