SCA stresses these are not “loopholes”, but legitimate, government-recognised reliefs. Missed reliefs most commonly arise from:

“This might be understandable from a layperson using HMRC’s online calculator – but professional advisers shouldn’t be making these mistakes,” a spokesperson said.
