A coalition of renting pressure groups unveils a manifesto that calls for sweeping changes in the private rented sector

A coalition of tenant friendly groups has published its manifesto - which can be seen here. It calls for:

rent controls, open-ended tenancies, an end to fixed-term tenancies ‘fair’ four-month notice periods, an end to Section 21 landlords should only be able to end tenancies in limited circumstance...
