Brighton and Hove City Council are currently running a consultation on new property licensing schemes – within the private rented sector, for additional HMO and selective licensing.
The consultation started on the 4 October and will close at midnight on Wednesday 3 January 2024. This means there is 4 weeks of the consultation period remaining.
If you haven’t done so already, we wish to encourage you to share your views on
the:

- Selective licensing scheme
- OR both schemes

Hard copies of the questionnaires (the online questionnaires) are available from the Customer Service Centre at Hove Town Hall and Customer Service Centre at Bartholomew House, Brighton
Hard copies of the questionnaires are also available at public libraries across the city
